Specialized Programs

UCS Right Path Program

Our Right Path Bonding Program is intended for contractors with smaller bond limits and infrequent bonding needs.

  • Single Limit: $750,000
  • Aggregate Limit: $1,500,000

The occasional contract bond need for a smaller contractor can be very difficult to qualify for if you don’t have an established relationship with a surety company. The program has a single limit of $750,000 and an aggregate limit for all bonds of $1,500,000. This may be used for multiple bonds from the same contractor once the application is approved and subject to the requirements below.

A fully completed application is required for consideration of maximum bonding limits and competitive rates subject to underwriting review. Bond request forms are required for every project needing bonding.

SBA Bonding

UCS has extensive experience with the Small Business Administration (SBA) Surety Bond Guarantee Program, providing contractors with access to government-backed bonding solutions. Our strong relationships with SBA representatives ensure a smooth and efficient process for your clients.

Payment and Performance Bonds Icon

Payment and Performance Bonds

When a contractor wins a project, Payment and Performance Bonds become essential to ensure:
  • Adherence to the agreed-upon contract.
  • Use of quality materials.
  • Timely payment of suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Completion of the project within the established timeline.
These bonds involve detailed underwriting, which evaluates a contractor’s Character, Capacity, and Capital—the three C’s. UCS works directly with agents and clients to ensure a smooth and transparent process, minimizing miscommunication and maximizing efficiency.
