Right Path bonding

The Right Path Bonding program is intended for contractors with smaller bond limits and infrequent bonding needs. The program has a single limit of $750,000 and aggregate limit for all bonds of $1,250,000. This may be used for multiple bonds from the same contractor once the application is approved and subject to the requirements below. A fully completed application is required for consideration of maximum bonding limits and competitive rates subject to underwriting review. Bond request forms are required for every project needing bonding.

  • Completed Bond Request Form (Bid or Final)
  • Acceptable corporate/personal credit score (obtained by Surety)
  • Signed Indemnity Agreement which includes the principal, all owners, spouses, and affiliated entities

All of the above, plus:
  • Latest financial statement and tax returns on the owners/indemnitors
  • Latest financial statement for the contractor/principal on the bond

FRAUD NOTICE:
Any person who knowingly and with intent to defraud any insurance company or person files an application containing any materially false information or conceals, for the purpose of misleading, information concerning any fact material thereto commits a fraudulent insurance act, which is a crime under applicable law. The applicants and indemnitors certify the truth of all statements in the application and authorize the company to verify this information and to obtain additional information from any source including obtaining a credit report.

CREDIT AUTHORIZATION:
Each Owner/Indemnitor authorizes United Casualty and Surety Insurance Company to obtain information from third parties, including personal credit reports, in connection with the surety’s underwriting and each Indemnitor’s compliance with indemnity agreements, bonded contracts and bonds. Each indemnitor releases such third parties from liability resulting from the provision of such information. Submission of this form is equivalent to a signature.

Our team will run a soft inquiry (also known as a soft credit pull) as part of our underwriting process. In order to do this, we do require the social security numbers of each of the indemnitors and their spouses.
